Shanghai BioScience Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BioScience") was founded in 2005. As a platform-based comprehensive service provider in the life science service sector, it supplies products including consumables, reagents and instruments in the life science field through the distribution of third-party branded products, as well as the R&D, production and sales of self-owned branded products. Its downstream end customers mainly cover biopharmaceutical enterprises, universities, hospitals, scientific research institutes and other institutions.
The company adopts a dual-core driven development model of "platform-based services + self-owned brands", taking the distribution business as the foundation while prioritizing the development of self-owned brands as a key growth direction. In the third-party brand distribution sector, it is one of the few platform suppliers in China that can provide consumables, reagents and instruments simultaneously, with integrated pre-sales, in-sales and after-sales comprehensive service capabilities. Meanwhile, the company has established self-owned brands across the three major product segments of consumables, reagents and instruments, with independent R&D, design and in-house production capabilities to realize localized domestic supply. Headquartered in Shanghai, BioScience has set up subsidiaries, branches or offices in 29 cities including Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Hefei, Fuzhou, Xiamen and Guangzhou. With the continuous expansion of distributed brands and enrichment of self-developed products, its sales business has maintained rapid growth. The company operates seven logistics and storage centers in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Wuhan, and all its branches are equipped with sufficient warehousing facilities and delivery vehicles.
