Shanghai BioScience's UELANDY Builds a Multi-Technology Life Science Reagent Platform

Molecular, cellular, protein and chemical technologies support nucleic-acid preparation, fluorescence labelling and cell analysis

UELANDY, a Shanghai BioScience company, develops life science reagents, dyes, magnetic beads and assay products through four technology platforms: molecular biology, cell biology, protein research and chemistry.
The UELANDY BioKit range supports plasmid, genomic DNA and RNA extraction, PCR clean-up, gel recovery and viral DNA/RNA extraction from body fluid samples. The wider molecular portfolio includes protein-purification beads, cell-sorting and immunomagnetic beads, nucleic-acid quantification, quantitative PCR, electrophoresis and reporter-gene assay reagents.
For cell biology, UELANDY provides products for viability and proliferation testing, including CCK-8, ATP and Calcein AM assays. Its apoptosis and cell-analysis range covers Annexin V, TUNEL, Caspase-3, membrane-potential, cell-cycle and signalling studies, alongside dyes for cell structures and organelles. Cell-culture products include foetal bovine serum, freezing media, matrix gels and transfection reagents.
The protein portfolio includes BCA assays, ECL substrates, lysis reagents, gel-preparation products, protein markers and PVDF membranes for Western blot workflows. UELANDY also develops YF®, CY, LS and YO dye families for labelling antibodies, proteins, peptides and nucleic-acid probes, together with TSA multiplex immunohistochemistry reagents, fluorescent secondary antibodies and enzyme substrates.
This combination allows UELANDY to support academic research as well as biopharmaceutical, small-molecule drug, next-generation sequencing and IVD development with reagents, raw materials and technical solutions.
