LR 1000 control complete package
The LR 1000 control is a cost efficient, modular laboratory reactor designed for optimizing chemical reaction processes as well as for mixing, dispersing and homogenization applications at the laboratory scale. The system can be adapted quickly and easily for a wide range of applications and specific requirements. The reactor is especially designed for the unique applications requirements that define the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. The temperature of the medium can be as high as 120 ºC. The temperature of the heating source, which is located at the bottom of the vessel, is controlled accordingly to reach the set temperature inside the medium. A PT 100.30 temperature sensor and the corresponding receptacle LR 1000.61 for the lid are included with this package. Prominent features of the LR 1000 control system are the integrated pH sensor connection and the display interface. LungZone™
The LungZone™ provides a controlled temperature and humidity environment (37°C – 95% RH) for testing inhalation drugs, replicating climatic conditions within the lung during the respiratory cycle. In addition to replicating lung conditions, the LungZone™ also mimics the respiratory cycle providing a controlled airflow through different sized lung assemblies. Drug delivery devices can be evaluated as to how effectively drug is delivered through the trachea, primary and upper lobe bronchi, establishing how far into the respiratory tract drug is delivered. MA 50.5Y Moisture Analyzer Maximum capacity [Max]: 50 g Readability [d]: 1 mg It Dries in 4 Ways The MA 5Y Moisture Analyzer offers you four drying profiles: standard, mild, fast and step. 1. The standard profile is the usually used drying profile. It allows the most accurate determination of moisture content. 2. The mild profile is designed for drying substances that are sensitive to the rapid heat released by the filaments, which heat full power at the initial stage of the process. An example of such a substance is leather. 3. You will use the fast profile for samples with significant moisture content – of the order of even several tens of percent. 4. The step profile will be ideal for drying substances that contain more than 15 percent moisture. Within this profile you can define any three temperatures. You will choose the values of temperature and duration of heating experimentally. Drying Temperature The drying temperature determines the duration of the process. Its value depends on the type of material. If the temperature is too low, it will under-dry the sample and, consequently, unnecessarily increase the measurement time, while if it is too high, it will cause a burning effect on the material. The drying temperature for the traditional (oven) method is determined by industry or factory standards. If there are no standards, you will select the temperature experimentally.
