Laboratory Reactors
IKA® laboratory reactors are modular systems for the optimization and reproduction of chemical reaction, mixing, dispersal and homogenizing processes at the laboratory level. The reactor systems can be adapted individually to a wide range of tasks. This includes, for example, the manufacture of creams and lotions, the grinding and reduction to fibres of solids in liquids or polymers, as well as the mixing and drying of powders.

Celebrating over 10 years of LaboraTree! It was way back in 2009 that the first seed of the Alpha Laboratories' tree planting scheme, LaboraTree, was sown. Thanks to the dedicated LaboraTree members in laboratories throughout the UK, over 3000 trees have now been planted across the country and are helping make a difference to our environment. Laminar Airflow Cabinets
Envair Technology’s range of Laminar Airflow Cabinets for healthcare, drug discovery, micro-electronics assembly and semi-conductor production include both vertical and horizontal laminar airflow models. With an extensive list of options and customisations available, all dimensions can be configured to suit your requirements Our Vertical Laminar Flow R Series guarantees superior product protection by offering a positive pressure particle-free working area achieved by initially pulling air through a G4 pre-filter (EN779:2012) and then pushing air through a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter type H-14 (BS: EN: 1822). This provides vertical laminar downflow air into the working area at a homogenous air speed across the filter face in a range of 0.36 m/s to 0.54 m/s. Our Horizontal Laminar Airflow Cabinets are designed to provide better than ISO 5 and EC GMP Grade A air quality. The flow of air is unidirectional and towards the operator, ensuring clean ‘first air’ in their work zone. Apprentices will learn: • How to work safely in a laboratory • Prepare laboratory tasks using appropriate scientific techniques • Use of laboratory equipment and specified instrumentation, including calibration. • Apply Scientific data for presentation e.g. statistics.
