AM500 Series Autosampler
Autosampler with full end to end, task orientated automation including barcode scanning, bottle cap unscrewing
AM500 autosamplers provide full end to end automation. They build sample tables, scan barcodes, unscrew bottle caps, transfer aliquots of sample from field bottles to designated analysis vessels and perform environmental analyses such as pH, alkalinity, conductivity and more, eliminating the need for manual pipetting and analysis. The AM500 offers improved accuracy and precision and regulatory compliance traceability. It can also perform sample preparation for other analysers.
The AM500 series have no circuit boards, everything is controlled directly by the software. They feature sealed, self-lubricating axes and 2 z-arms. For tests that require heating, the AM500 uses heater block racks for improved safety and sample temperature control compared to water baths. Safety shields and enclosure options are also available for additional protection of samples.
The systems automatically cap and uncap many bottle types and feature a sample protect option with simple magnet operated lid.
Custom racks are available for any standardised bottles. The software builds the sample table and confirms sample is in correct position. A dual functionality camera confirms cap removal and successful recapping and performs fast barcode reading followed by slow reading if the barcode is not detected.
AM500 autosamplers can split samples amongst multiple racks, dispense microlitres to milliliters, and decide between IntelliDose, IntelliPeri or burette depending on desired accuracy. They also add diluent and perform pH adjustment both ways. Unique 1mL, 5mL, and 10mL pipette tips can be utilised pipette tips may be required depending on application and user preference. A proximity sensor confirms the pipette tip has been picked up or ejected and the AM500 features extensive cleaning procedures.
