Where Ultra Ends, X Begins: Shimadzu Introduces XPLC
Discover how Shimadzu’s Nexera X4 and new XPLC category deliver faster separations, sharper peaks and lower solvent use, helping high-throughput laboratories achieve more without compromising data quality.
Analytical laboratories are under increasing pressure to deliver faster results without compromising data quality. To meet this challenge, Shimadzu has introduced the Nexera X4 and a new category of liquid chromatography: XPLC (Extreme Performance Liquid Chromatography).
Designed for high-throughput environments, the Nexera X4 combines rapid analysis with low dispersion, stable solvent delivery and reliable operation. Its proprietary Nexflow technology minimises peak broadening while avoiding the blockages often associated with narrow-bore systems. Features including four independent pressure sensors, four plunger drives and fast gradient stabilisation help deliver sharper peaks, faster separations and highly reproducible results.
The system also supports low-flow applications with 1 mm I.D. columns, reducing solvent consumption and running costs while maintaining performance from injector to mass spectrometer.
Where Ultra ends, X begins. Discover how XPLC can help your laboratory increase throughput, reduce costs and maintain confidence in every result. Contact Shimadzu to learn more or arrange a demonstration.
