VerdiBlot is a universal Western blot membrane manufactured by LAM-X a.s. in the Czech Republic. It is designed for sensitive protein detection, very low background and compatibility with established laboratory procedures. The membrane offers ultra-low autofluorescence across 280–800 nm and supports fluorescence, chemiluminescence and colorimetric detection. It can be used with wet, semi-dry and dry transfer systems, as well as multiplexing, total-protein staining, stripping and reprobing.
A side-by-side comparison is the best way to assess how VerdiBlot performs with your samples, antibodies, buffers, transfer equipment and imaging system. Keep your usual workflow and compare VerdiBlot with the membrane you currently use. You can evaluate target signal, background, band clarity, handling, multiplex performance and the ability to strip and reprobe. VerdiBlot fits familiar procedures with no or only minor adjustments and typically requires no separate PVDF-style methanol pre-activation.
Beyond performance, VerdiBlot provides a sustainability advantage. It is PFAS-free and 100% biodegradable. To our knowledge, it is currently the only Western blot membrane offering 100% biodegradability, providing a more responsible alternative to conventional PVDF membranes.
Free samples are available to researchers, laboratories and potential distribution partners interested in evaluating VerdiBlot under real working conditions. There is no obligation to change your current membrane or place an order. We ask only that you cover the shipping cost.
