Call for paper contribution

We are looking for researchers facing difficult Western blot experiments. LAM-X will provide VerdiBlot for a side-by-side evaluation, support protocol optimization and work with selected collaborators to prepare the results for publication.

We are looking for researchers who face challenging Western blot experiments and are interested in developing the results into a scientific contribution together with LAM-X.

The collaboration is intended for projects involving challenges such as low-abundance proteins, limited or valuable samples, weak antibodies, high background, phosphoprotein detection, fluorescence multiplexing, stripping and reprobing, or difficult transfer conditions.

LAM-X will provide VerdiBlot membranes for a controlled side-by-side comparison with the membrane currently used in your laboratory. Together, we will define a suitable experimental design, review the protocol and evaluate signal, background, handling, transfer, multiplexing or reprobing according to the needs of the project.

Our objective is to generate robust and transparent data. Depending on the scope and quality of the results, we will work with selected collaborators toward an application note, conference contribution or scientific paper. Positive and negative findings are both valuable because they help establish where the membrane performs well and where further optimization is required.

We are particularly interested in researchers who can perform a documented comparison using appropriate controls and share the original experimental data for joint analysis. Publication format, responsibilities and authorship will be agreed according to each contributor’s scientific involvement.

If you have a challenging Western blot project, send us a short description of the target protein, sample type, current protocol and the problem you want to investigate.
