NanoNord brings laboratory-grade elemental analysis out of the lab and onto the production line. Our Tveskaeg® analysers use low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to measure elements directly in a sample — no reagents, no solvents, no consumables and no hazardous waste to dispose of. The only by-products are water and your sample, which also removes reliance on reagents facing tightening restriction, such as the chromate indicator used in classic salt titration.

A single measurement takes about one minute for sodium (salt) in food and around two minutes for lithium in extraction brine, accurate to within ±2% under factory calibration. The analyser reads the full volume of a large sample — on the order of 50 g rather than a small aliquot — and compensates for the sample matrix in software, so readings stay reliable across different products and recipes without re-tuning.

Svend Auto Sampler — automates dilution, sample transfer and cleaning for up to 14 samples per run, so a sequence can run unattended and results stop varying between operators and shifts.

One instrument can cover several elements — sodium, chloride, lithium, boron, nitrogen, phosphorus among them — with further elements added by software licence rather than new hardware.
