      Welch SCSpro 15 dry scroll vacuum pump generates a maximum pumping speed of 250 lpm and vacuum to 0.012 Torr(0.016 mbar). The oil-free scroll pump generates a vacuum by continuously moving pockets of captured gas that enters inlet to exhaust port via two-sided spiral mechanism. Welch SCSpro 15 has a built-in self-cleaning air flush that removes liquefied vapors that can condense in pump from a trapped application. The air flush function doesn’t impact vacuum performance of pump. The scroll pump is an alternate solution to oil-sealed rotary vane pumps. Common applications include freeze dryer with ultra-low temperature condenser, glove box, cold trapped vacuum oven or degassing chamber, turbo backing, and evacuation of cryogenic lines.
