PIPETMAX® 278 is designed for both labs new to PIPETMAX and those ready to scale on a familiar platform. New users gain a higher-capacity automation system built on proven pipetting principles, while existing PIPETMAX users can expand throughput with minimal disruption by leveraging the same trusted technology at a larger scale. The system supports a broad range of plate formats and configurations, delivering consistent, reproducible liquid handling across bioassays, qPCR, and NGS workflows.

Modular design allows heating, shaking, cooling, and UV/HEPA options to be added as workflows evolve, rather than forcing redesigns or platform changes. Built-in tip intelligence helps manage consumable use efficiently at scale, while continued compatibility with standard Gilson® DIAMOND Tips keeps processes familiar, controlled, and cost-effective as automation expands.
