It also maintains microorganism viability for up to 96-hours after collection, helping to reduce the risk of false negatives when testing delays occur.

HiCap™'s performance is supported by research from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which compared collection solutions used for environmental monitoring. The study found that HiCap™ performed equivalently to D/E broth under all test conditions and maintained effective recovery of stressed Listeria monocytogenes even when exposed to exceptionally high levels of quaternary ammonium sanitizer. The research also demonstrated that HiCap™ remained effective after storage at room temperature for up to two months.
