NEW: SM 5Y.A Automatic Susceptometer!

RADWAG’s offer has been extended by an automatic susceptometer for measuring magnetic susceptibility and permanent magnetization of mass standards of E1 class and lower.

The SM 5Y.A Automatic Susceptometer, which is designed to measure the magnetic susceptibility and permanent magnetization of mass standards of class E1 and below with the readability [d] of 1 µg, in accordance with OIML R111, has been added to the company’s range of products.

The automation of the new SM 5Y.A susceptometer manifests itself, among other things, in:
• Automatic change of magnet polarity
The susceptometer’s software guides the user through the process of checking the magnetic properties of the sample under test, then changes the magnet’s polarity at the appropriate moment and displays the test result.
• Automatic change of the pan position level depending on the class of the tested mass standard
The SM 5Y.A susceptometer features three automatic pan position levels that determine the distance of the weighing platform from the centre of the magnet, which simultaneously defines the strength of the magnetic field in which the mass standard is tested.
• Automatic adjustment
The SM 5Y.A susceptometer has automatic (internal) adjustment, which means that it is carried out by the susceptometer itself. This procedure is more precise, ergonomic and economical for the user.

The new SM 5Y.A Automatic Susceptometer accommodates all the advanced features of the 5Y terminal, such as 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, Digital Weighing Auditor (DWA), 4+ logging methods as well as a wide selection of widgets, databases, working modes and communication interfaces, among others.
