Field Service Engineer

Zematra UK, a European leader in supply of Laboratory Analytical Equipment is in search of a new addition to our Field Service Team.

Due to our increasing UK Customer Base, Zematra UK, a European leader in supply, installation, service and repair of Laboratory Analytical Equipment to the Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Industries, we require the skills of a self-motivated person to join our Field Service Team.

Based at our East Yorkshire office in Newport (near Hull), the position will involve extensive travelling within the UK, often staying away from home, Monday to Friday.

Logical diagnostic skills and good electrical / mechanical knowledge are essential, along with good computer skills and relevant certification in the electrical and /or mechanical disciplines.

Responsibilities will include visiting customer Laboratories / Premises to carry out required procedures. These may
include, but are not limited to:

· Installation / commissioning and customer tuition of new equipment.
· Disassemble / reassemble machines to repair / replace malfunctioning components.
· Carry out service work to precise methods.

Any previous servicing of Titrators, Refractometers, Density instruments will carry a distinct advantage.

Full product training of an ongoing nature awaits the successful applicant, along with company car (with private use), and a renumeration package commensurate with experience.
