MagBeads FastDNA™ Kit for Feces

The MagBeads FastDNA Kit for Feces allows quick and efficient isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from fresh or frozen human and animal feces in less than 60 minutes. Samples are placed into Lysing Matrix E tubes and used with FastPrep® Instruments from MP Biomedicals to effectively lyse host cells as well as bacteria, fungi, viruses, protists, and other cells present in fecal samples within 40 seconds. The kit is also compatible with most of the automated nucleic acid extraction instruments on the market or it can be operated manually. It consists of specially formulated reagents to eliminate humic acid, polysaccharides, phenolic compounds, and enzyme inhibitors from feces and thus allow extraction of highly pure genomic DNA ready for PCR, restriction digestion, electrophoresis, and other desired applications.

MagBeads FastDNA™ Kit for Soil

The MagBeads FastDNA™ Kit for Soil allows quick and efficient isolation of high-quality genomic DNA from soil in less than 60 mins. Samples are placed into Lysing Matrix E tubes and used with FastPrep® Instruments from MP Biomedicals to effectively lyse host cells as well as bacteria, fungi, viruses, protists and other cells present in soil samples within 40 seconds. SPINeasy® DNA/RNA/Protein All-In-One Kit, 50 preps

SPINeasy DNA/RNA/Protein All-In-One Kit utilizes a convenient workflow and silica-membrane spin-columns to isolate DNA, RNA and protein components from the same sample, without the use of toxic substances such as phenol and chloroform. The use of our specially formulated Lysis Buffer R and Lysing Matrix A in combination with FastPrep® Instruments from MP Biomedicals enables highly efficient lysis of tissue samples within seconds. DNA, RNA and proteins are then sequentially purified from the same lysate. Briefly, DNA is adsorbed onto the first spin column, while the flow-through is collected and used for RNA purification. The second spin column captures RNA and the flow-through from this step is used for protein extraction. DNA and RNA are bound on the first and second columns, respectively, and then washed and eluted. In the final extraction, proteins are precipitated out of solution, pelleted down by centrifugation, washed and resuspended. Each molecular component is then immediately available for their respective downstream applications.

RNAintact Stabilization Solution

RNAintact Stabilization Solution is an aqueous sample storage reagent that stabilizes and preserves RNA in samples for an extended period at wide range of storage conditions (up to 37◦C and suitable for freezing temperature storage up to -80◦C). The solution has been tested to have wide compatibility with various sample types, ranging from bacteria, tissue culture cells, animal tissues and even to the extent of preserving some plant tissues. RNAintact Stabilization Solution offers as a quick and easy-to-use RNA preservation buffer that allows instantaneous field sample storage when refrigerated storage is unavailable.
