Deft V2.0 (Digital Enabled Formulation Toolset)
Deft V2.0 is a connected laboratory solution designed to improve visibility, consistency, and efficiency across research and development environments. Using the Deft Gateway, traditional laboratory equipment can be transformed into smart, monitored systems with real-time data capture and monitoring. Featuring an integrated LCD touchscreen and compatibility with devices such as balances, stirrers, hot plates, and pH probes, Deft V2.0 supports precise, repeatable workflows while simplifying interaction with connected equipment and improving overall process reliability.

Hyve
‘Hyve’ is a unique concept design in laboratory and life science autonomous robotic systems. The award winning modular and scalable intelligent collaborative robot platform enables clients to design, develop, manage and deliver a solution meeting their initial requirements. ‘Hyve’ can be changed, adapted and redeployed easily as requirements change due to its modular construction, consisting of a base system with plug in modules. This is particularly favourable for those in an R&D environment where changing research demands necessitate a flexible research platform. Moreover, the interface to the robot is configured with ease of use in mind. The interface is more akin to configuring an iPad rather than needing a qualified software professional to change the code. The use of collaborative robotics makes the system more of a robotic scientist rather than a machine in a laboratory that needs operators with scientific esoteric knowledge to run. Additionally, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies future proofs the system to address changing market demands and expectations. This approach allows AST to offer the first ‘off the shelf’ modular collaborative robotic system, reducing costs, improving reliability, quality to reduce time to market for our client’s products. Then when their client’s products change, the ‘Hyve’ is adapted/re utilised to meet to meet their new needs. ‘Hyve’ has the same availability as an off the shelf platform, with the same scalability of a larger integrated platform and the same level of flexibility/customisation of a bespoke solution. This is unique in the laboratory automation marketplace. Designed to discover advancements in formulation chemistry and biotechnology. The future of robotics has arrived.

Automated Mobile Robot
Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and Auto Guided Vehicles (AGVs) facilitate the autonomous transport of payloads around the required working environment without human assistance. The potential benefits are clear: • Reduction (potentially massive) of time operatives spend walking driving • Dynamic route optimisation for maximum throughput (Dependent on intelligence levels) • Allow operative to focus on value-add tasks • Improve safety There are many types available offering range of capabilities from basic systems requiring infrastructure for navigation such as wires/tapes to intelligent vehicle that navigate without external infrastructure and have the intelligence to calculate the shortest or optimal route between pick and place points. Inappropriate selection can result in lengthy unproductive evaluations, workflow disruption and potential for degraded operational performance.

Data Analytics
Big Data refers to large complex data which is generated from IoT devices, sensors, websites, etc. With this come many formats of data making it difficult to capture, store, analyse and convert the data into readable formats. This will provide insights to help businesses make real time decisions, predict any failures and detect possible cyber violations. The biggest challenges facing R&D is having data that is consistent, reliable, and well linked. The ability to manage and integrate data generated at all stages of the value chain, from discovery to real-world use after regulatory approval, is a fundamental requirement to allow companies to derive maximum benefit from the technology trends.

Palletizing
If you're in the manufacturing sector, a robotic palletizing solution could be beneficial for you. Palletizing is a simple, repetitive task and is the action of placing finished products on a pallet ready for shipment or storage in the logistics supply chain. By introducing robotic palletizing solutions, it ensures you get the flexibility, productivity and reliability you need to meet ever shorter product life-cycles, new packaging designs, multiple pack sizes & product variants and batch manufacturing. Selecting the right robot for your application is critical, and that’s why we are here to help. The following factors: payload, duty, reach, cycle time, weight of products and floor space, all affect which robot is suitable for your project. Applied Integration have an in house digital twin team who can set up the process and make modifications in a virtual reality (VR) environment before being applied to the final system, avoiding risk and loss of production.

AiCart
The AiCart is a revolutionary Smart Trolley with on board intelligence, designed to revolutionise material handling and logistics. Compatible with almost and AMR available on the market, The AiCart can be seamlessly introduced to any kind of environment, and with integrated swarm technology the AiCart can work as a group to complete larger, more complex tasks. The AiCart is scalable, adaptable and affordable, cutting down on AMR costs as they are able to work with or without the help of an AMR. Traditional AMR trolleys and top modules draw power from the AMR itself and are unable to operate without it however, The AiCart has its own on board power supply allowing it to work independently on one task while your AMR takes on another, minimising downtime and increasing efficiency. Available in a range of materials, the AiCart is suitable for diverse needs - from hygienic settings to tough industrial use. To improve your logistics workflow or material handling, you need The AiCart, seamless, agile and efficient.
