The Grant Controlled Rate Freezer (CRF/CRFT) is a compact, benchtop system designed for precise, programmable cryopreservation without the need for liquid nitrogen or alcohol baths. It offers accurate temperature control from –100 °C to +30 °C, with ±0.5 °C accuracy and ±0.1 °C stability, ensuring optimal cell viability by preventing ice crystal formation. The freezer supports both linear and non-linear cooling/thawing profiles and features interchangeable heads to accommodate a wide range of sample formats including cryovials, straws, and microplates. With user-friendly software, real-time data logging, and optional uninterruptible power supply (UPS), the Grant CRF delivers safe, reproducible, and traceable freezing protocols—ideal for stem cells, IVF, vaccines, organoids, and cell therapies—at a fraction of the cost of LN₂-based systems.
