Cleanroom suitability and particle emission safety
Thanks to its special materials and hygienic design, TEXON meets the highest requirements for particle emission safety.
TEXON is certified for use in class 3 cleanrooms in accordance with ISO 14644-1 (Fraunhofer).
Hygienic design
TEXON’s hygienic design has been tested by the German
Fraunhofer Institute for its functionality and range of applications.
The assessment has verified that
► the chair can be completely cleaned by simply wiping it down
► Modular design allows efficient cleaning of individual
components
► TEXON is ideal for clean and hygiene-critical production areas
► TEXON adheres to the design recommendations of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) and the standards ISO 14644-1, 14159 and 1672-2
ESD-compliant
Overall ESD discharge across all components in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1, typical discharge resistance of 106 Ω.
All components and materials (e.g. upholstery, plastics, steel parts, castors) are volume-conductive and therefore guarantee the highest level of ESD safety. This includes the light-coloured plastic parts, which are also volume-conductive – a particularly innovative and unique feature of this design.
