Powder-Coated Laboratory Furniture
Teknomek has launched a new range of powder-coated laboratory furniture that can be fully customised to your business’ requirements. Starting with an initial site visit, the Teknomek design team will create a layout that compliments current workflows and ensures efficiency for years to come. Fully adaptable to your needs, the work benches and islands are available in mobile or fixed versions with a variety of storage configurations, including sliding cupboards to help facilitate desk sharing. These units can also be fitted with sinks or a power supply via trunking with integrated plug sockets for full versatility. All of the new workbenches and islands feature Trespa TopLab® Plus countertops for maximum durability, anti-microbial protection and high chemical resistance that can safely withstand corrosive substances. The range also includes open-sided lab benches with a tubular rear tie bar, height adjustable tables and vibration-free balance desks, as well as reagent shelving for easy accessibility to labware and equipment.
Monmouth Circulaire® fume cupboard with visionaire® touch screen
Our Monmouth recirculating fume cupboards offer a flexible, energy-efficient solution for safe fume and vapour containment without the need for ductwork or costly installation. Ideal operator protection for workspaces where external venting is not feasible, these units offer reliable protection - perfect for pharmaceutical production, teaching and quality control environments. Air is drawn inward to prevent aerosols from escaping the controlled work zone and pass through high-capacity carbon or HEPA main filters (sold separately) to trap chemical vapours at the source. Clean air is recirculated into the room, maintaining HVAC balance. The prefilter is included as standard and should be replaced every 3 – 6 months. Main and optional outlet filters (excluded and sold separately) should be checked every 12–14 months , in accordance with COSHH regulations. Regular servicing (also sold separately) should be carried out in line with these requirements. Available in four widths (800mm to 1800mm) with folding or sliding sash options, each unit is built from welded mild steel with a powder-coated finish for chemical resistance and easy cleaning. A GRP lipped spillage tray is also included to prevent contamination. Bespoke options are available—please contact our Customer Service team to discuss your specific needs. The Visionaire® touchscreen provides real-time airflow visibility, fan speed control and filter life alerts while the eco mode reduces energy use when idle. With low-noise operation (from 53dB), dimmable LED lighting, and full BS 7989:2001 and COSHH compliance, this range offers dependable, low-maintenance laboratory protection.
