TubeOne microcentrifuge tubes
TubeOne® tubes stay sealed during boiling, freezing or centrifuging, and are still easy to open afterwards! Optically clear without compromising structural integrity, the tubes feature a frosted writing surface. TubeOne® tubes are made from pure polypropylene and are manufactured with state of the art production equipment housed in a positive pressure HEPA filtered environment. No processing additives such as slip agents, biocides or antistatic agents are used during production. Your samples remain protected from potential bioactive contaminants.
CytoOne Cell Culture range
CytoOne® flasks, dishes, and plates are gamma sterilised (SAL 10-5) and certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA and Pyrogen free. CytoOne® is produced in a cleanroom environment and offers certified testing and consistent surfaces made from optically clear, premium grade polystyrene. CytoOne® also offers convenience with features like grippers on dishes and plates for secure handling, easy-open resealable packaging on flasks, and complete 360º chimney wells on plates to prevent cross contamination. CytoOne® is available for adherent and suspension cells grown in dishes, flasks or plates. Outfit your cells with CytoOne® cell culture performance ware for optimum growth and handling. StarGuard Disposable Gloves
Starlab is committed to providing the best hand protection available. Regardless of the application and user preferences, StarGuard® disposable gloves offer daily protection in the laboratory without sacrificing comfort. The StarGuard® glove range offers the highest EN safety standards, with three gloves having an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 0.65. All gloves have been tested against a variety of chemicals to the latest EN 16523-2015 testing methods, and are rated Type B for the new EN374:2016 compliance.
Thermomixer Mixer HC
The Starlab Thermomixer is a great all-rounder for flexibility in the lab. It mixes, it heats and it cools, all combined in one instrument to ease your work flow and save your valuable time! This compact unit with a small footprint is the ideal addition to your workbench. The Starlab Mixer HC is suitable for a wide range of applications due a selection of exchangeable thermoblocks available for all commonly used vials and plates. The powerful motor mixes up to 1500 rpm while the precise thermal element heats samples up to 99° C or cools them down as far as 13° C below room temperature. The Mixer HC is very easy to use due to intuitive setting of parameters and simple programming. The robust construction despite its small footprint makes the Mixer HC your new companion for your daily lab work.
Pipette Servicing and Calibration
Starlab is a UKAS accredited calibration laboratory (429). The team of fully-trained technicians can service and calibrate all makes and model of pipette; single and multi, manual and electronic, repeaters, pipette controllers and bottle-top dispensers. Starlab provides a UK-wide on-site servicing as well a mail-in service with quick turnaround. Starlab's unique calibration software provides enhanced reporting capabilities so customers can build up a detailed servicing history of all their pipettes. As a UKAS accredited service, you can be sure that Starlab's calibration service is carried out by professional, competent staff, with properly maintained instruments and in the correct conditions. Starlab will ensure the accuracy of your pipette to the last drop!
PCR Consumables
STARLAB has a comprehensive range of PCR Tubes, PCR Strips and PCR Plates. The range of high quality PCR Consumables are made from medical grade polypropylene and are certified RNase, DNase, DNA and PCR Inhibitor free, and are also Endotoxin free. Features include clear, printed alpha-numeric matrix for ease of handling. Silicone sealing mats or a range of self-adhesive or heat sealing PCR Sealing Mats are available to complement the range.

GuardOne® minimizes cross-contamination risk and protects your valuable samples and reagents and saves you time by not having to duplicate your work. The GuardOne® Workstation with silent, energy-saving fan, real-time airflow measurement and two stage filter system creates an ISO 5 cleanroom environment* to improve your results. The UV lamp with timer function allows you to easily decontaminate the working area whenever needed. Made from optically-clear, UV-impermeable polycarbonate, GuardOne® provides the user with an optimal view while working and full protection from harmful UV when decontaminating. A safety-switch on the sash door prevents any UV use while working. Every aspect of GuardOne® has been designed with convenience in mind. All functions can be controlled via the intuitive touchscreen that is compatible with laboratory gloves. The integrated lab timer, constant monitoring of the UV lamp and the HEPA filters lifespan will ease your work further. TipOne Sterile Filter Tip Refill
TipOne Filter Tip Refills are an economical and green alternative to racked filter tips. Just open the refill, pop the whole thing into a rack, remove the lid and start pipetting. It's easy to use and sterility is not compromised during racking! Get Green with Starlab! Filter Tip Refills REDUCE plastic waste. TipOne racks can be reused over and over again with the refill system - racks have been tested to withstand 100 autoclave cycles. All components of the TipOne Filter Tip Refille are made from polypropylene, so as well as reducing single-use plastic in your lab, you can RECYCLE the packaging too.

The unique touchscreen provides precise speed settings for the gentle mixing of samples right up to vigorous vortex mixing and the resuspending of cells or chemical pellets.
Plate Centrifuge
Starlab’s innovative Plate Centrifuge is tailored for the rapid and effortless centrifugation of samples in PCR plates. Use before and after thermal cycling to enhance your yield. CONVENIENT, TIME SAVING Now you can stop taking plates to the big centrifuge at the other end of the lab, and having to wait for it to unlock. This plate centrifuge can sit on your bench and will spin your plates in seconds. FAST LOADING Holds two standard PCR plates. Load the sealed plates vertically into the top slots. TWO OPERATING MODES SHORT: Use for short spins. Press and hold to run at maximum speed. The timer will count up. Release the button to stop centrifuging. TIMER: For longer centrifugation or hands-free operation, set a duration. Centrifuging will stop when the set time has elapsed.
