LTE Scientific is one of the country's leading manufacturers of Laboratory Autoclaves and Thermal Equipment. All our products are designed and manufactured in the UK.
Our autoclave ranges are available in cylindrical and square section models. We offer single-entry and pass-through versions along with a wide range of options, including, vacuum, air ballast, data archiving and more. Capacities range from 40 litres up to 10,000 litres.
Our Thermal products include our popular IP and OP Incubator and oven ranges with capacities from 60 to 250 litres. Completing the range is the Drying Cabinet which is also available in economically-friendly models reducing typical energy usage by up to 50%, these come in a range of models and sizes from 100 to 1000 litres.
As exclusive UK distributor of leading Danish company KEN Hygiene, LTE can supply UK laboratories with a range of disinfection equipment including KENs sustainable range of IQ washers ranging from an under bench 170L model up to floor standing 285L model.
In addition to our extensive product range LTE also boasts one of the largest Service Departments in the UK with nationwide field based engineers, all accredited to UKAS/HTM standards and trained to carry out service, maintenance, calibration and validation work on all major autoclave brands.

Eco-Drying Cabinet - Low Power Consumption
LTE Scientific has developed a new range of sustainable eco-drying cabinets confronting the ever-growing demand to reduce carbon footprints which will significantly reduce power usage, offering massive energy savings when compared to conventionally constructed glassware drying cabinets. In tests, the DL100E used only 0.1kWh to get from 22°C to 60°C and then only 0.125kWh thereafter to maintain that temperature. At a constant 75°C the DL100E only used 0.188kWh. These eco-drying cabinets are available in both from 100 and 180 litres, the eco-drying cabinet range is fully insulated on 5 sides and supplied with glass sliding doors or double glazed doors, depending on the model chosen. LTE’s hygienic sterling anti-bacterial coating is used on all the outer casings, whilst all interiors are manufactured from stainless steel. All models come as standard with digital temperature control, a 7 day timer and 2-year warranty.
Touchclave -Lab "K" Series Rectangular Autoclave
The Touchclave-Lab ‘K’ Series is LTE’s top-line range of mid-sized rectangular chambered general purpose autoclaves, available in 5 sizes from 150 - 450 litre capacities, with pass-through versions also available from 300 litres and above. ‘K’ Series models are designed to operate using either a steam generator situated beneath the chamber, or via the customers own direct steam supply. This arrangement maximises the usable chamber volume and provides a clean, unencumbered chamber, free from heaters and water. Our Touchclave-K offers built in safety features including a safety microswitch fitted to the door only allowing the steriliser cycle to start if the door is properly closed and locked, additionally the door cannot be opened until the chamber has reached atmospheric pressure and temperature. All models incorporate an easy-glide vertical sliding door and have been designed to have a small footprint. A power door can be fitted as an option. A wide range of features are included in the ‘K’ Series as standard to enhance machine performance and cycle efficiency. These include: • 8-program touchscreen control system • Internal data archiving • Water jacket cooling system • Exhaust condensation unit • Load-sensed process timer • Pneumatically operated door lock and sealing system • Integral silent air compressor
Touchclave Lab "V" Series Autoclaves
The Touchclave-Lab ‘V’ Series offer an economical autoclave for installation in laboratories. Thanks to the small digital footprint, they are ideal for laboratories, and ideal for laboratories which do not have access to a drain or direct water supply. The Touchclave - V autoclaves are available in 2 sizes with standard capacities of 50 and 80 litres. ‘V’ Series models are designed to operate using in-chamber heating and have been designed to have a small footprint making these suitable for most laboratories. There are 2 variations of the Touchclave-V series starting with the Touchclave-V+ with it’s intuitive touchscreen control panel capable of storing up to 10 cycles, which is alongside the Touchclave-V+ Dry. This has both touchscreen controls and comes with a pre/post vacuum system as standard, providing users with the most versatile option capable of sterilizing most loads.
Touchclave Lab "R" Series Autoclaves
The Touchclave-R range is ideal for installation in laboratories which do not have access to a drain or water supply. Equipped with features and a range of options not normally seen on this type of sterilizer, the Touchclave-R provides unrivalled performance and versatility. Available in 40, 60, 120 and 160-litre sizes, with a choice of front or top loading. Ideal for many laboratory sterilization applications, the Touchclave-R range has been designed with flexibility and reliability in mind and is ideal for installation in laboratories which do not have access to a drain or water supply with its in-chamber heating method. A range of features are included as standard on the Touchclave "R" providing optimal performance with a small footprint, these include: • 8-program Touchscreen control system • Compact design • 316L stainless steel pressure vessel • Built-in air ballast system for faster processing of liquid loads • Load-sensed process timer • Fan cooling system • Contains anti-bacterial epoxy powder coating
Touchclave Systems Autoclaves- MP
Our Multi-Purpose range of Touchclave system Autoclave sterilisers offer a medium to large sterilisation solution for a range of appliances. They are available in eight standard sizes from 435 litres up to 1274 litres with bespoke larger sized models available up to 10,000 litres. The Touchclave Systems-MP operate either using the customers central steam supply, electrically heated integral or stand alone steam generators. Sterilizers can be supplied with polished chambers, stainless steel pipework and clean steam generators, and all are customisable to suit your individual needs. As the largest and most comprehensive of our machines the Systems machines come as standard with a wide range of features for optimal performance. These include: • Automatic Sliding doors with safety edge • Pre/Post Vacuum system • Air ballast system for fast and safe processing of fluids • Water jacket for exceptional cooling efficiency • Steam jacket for optimum drying performance • Internal Data Archiving
OP Series Ovens
OP Series Ovens provide solid build quality and reliable performance and are ideal for a wide range of laboratory, research and industrial applications covering the scientific sector. Available in sizes from 60 to 250-litres and with a wide range of temperatures ranging from 40°C to 250°C. The OP ovens come with a choice of heating element, either fan circulated or natural convection and uni-program or multi-program control systems to suit any requirement.
IP Series Incubators
IP Series Incubators provide solid build quality and reliable performance ideal for today’s busy and demanding laboratory. Available in sizes from 60 to 250-litres and with a wide operating temperature range from 30°C to 80°C. The IP Incubator range can be supplied as either fan circulated or natural convection and both models have a choice of either Uni and Multi-program control systems. The incubators features a uni-program system which offers single temperature selection and control at the push of a button. These laboratory incubators provide multi-program controls that allow up to 8 multiple-step cycles to be stored in the memory at any one time, offering segment programming including ramps, dwells, stop and repeat functions
KEN Washer Disinfectors - IQ3-6
As exclusive UK distributor for KEN Hygiene Systems, LTE are the sole provider of the IQ range of washer disinfectors, suitable for the research and general laboratory sectors. KEN’s range of IQ medical washer disinfectors are designed to provide excellent load and wash efficiencies, fast processing times, a small physical footprint and be economically friendly with reduced energy, water, and chemical usage. The IQ range varies in size from the IQ3 benchtop/Under-bench model up to the IQ6 with a chamber volume of 492 litres. Each model benefits from having a small physical and economic footprint and sleek design.
LABCLAVE-L Laboratory Autoclave
We are excited to announce our brand new Labclave-L laboratory autoclave range, combining a sleek new design, improved efficiency and sustainability to create a game changing autoclave for any laboratory. Featuring a refreshed exterior and advanced steam generation technology, the new models are designed to minimalize environmental impact from manufacture to daily operation, all while maintaining exceptional performance. The new design comes with streamlined front and side access panels for easier servicing and maintenance. Inside the chamber, a dual shelf layout with adjustable runners provides the flexibility to suit a variety of laboratory needs. Reach- In Environmental Chamber
Suitable for smaller facilities, the Reach-In Environmental Chamber provide a high-capacity testing and storage solution with a small digital footprint Our stability storage chambers create controlled environments where maintaining specific temperature and humidity levels is critical to the process or product. These chambers support a wide range of applications, including pharmaceutical product testing, stability testing, food shelf life assessments, packaging trials, large-scale incubation, and large-scale BOD testing. These chambers are available with three different heating options being either heat only (+37°C to +40°C), heat/cool (+5°C to +40°C) or heat/cool/RH (+5°C to +40°C with RH control from 50 to 75%). These chambers feature key features such as: • Being constructed with insulated panels for the floor, ceiling and walls, in order to ensure durability and efficient thermal performance • The chambers feature a white epoxy coating, ensuring a long lasting performance • Built in monitors which track the environment of the room in the event of fluctuations
Walk-In Environmental Rooms
Environmental chambers are designed to replicate climatic conditions in which material, drugs and equipment may be exposed to in even the most demanding states. In addition to this, they can also be used as controlled work spaces, where the temperature and humidity are critical to the product or process being worked on. Our environmental control are suitable for many applications including pharmaceutical product testing, stability testing, food shelf life testing, packaging trials, large scale incubation, large scale BOD testing. These control chambers can be manufactured in varying shapes depending of the requirements needed so the size and temperature variance are completely adjustable.
