HTZ Ltd
About us
HTZ designs and supplies automated liquid handling instruments focussing on clinical, industrial and pharmaceutical laboratories. Applications include any which require precision pipetting, liquid dispensing, diluting, vial filling, tube moving, labelling, stoppering, uncapping and weighing. HTZ will present an example of one of its new Beeline ZX range of automated workstations which is suitable for a wide range of applications and budgets.
HTZ, based in West Sussex in the UK, has been supplying robotic liquid handlers, primarily on an OEM basis, to diagnostic companies around the world for many years. More recently, HTZ has been more active in the UK market and used the strengths of its local R&D, Manufacturing and Technical Support operations to directly provide customised automated solutions to UK laboratories as well.
HTZ welcomes the opportunity to discuss potential collaboration on automated instrument projects and is particularly keen to explore new applications for its new Beeline ZX platform. We also welcome the opportunity to meet potential distributors for our complete range of liquid handling instruments and look forward to meeting you at LAB INNOVATIONS 2025.

Beeline ZX Liquid Handlers
The Beeline ZX is the latest range of automated liquid handlers from HTZ, all designed for pipetting samples with maximum precision, accuracy and security. Beeline ZX’s come in a range of sizes and configurations each tailored to suit the needs of different applications and throughput requirements. Whether it be configured for simple filling tasks or for performing complex analytical procedures, all ZX models are inherently flexible and designed to perform pipetting from any source tube or container to any target vessel, all under the control of user-friendly software. In addition to the basic pipetting and liquid handling capabilities, additional hardware options are available to allow for various other tasks and applications. This brochure describes the basic options and provides information on some of the additional options. However, the Beeline ZX architecture is inherently adaptable so additional requirements can be added relatively easily to extend its capabilities further.

Beeline ZX 300 Archiva
The Beeline ZX Archiva is a cost-effective liquid handler for secure aliquotting of samples into 2D labelled or other types of storage tubes. One of its main features include fully automated positive ID of both primary sample tubes and 2D labelled storage tube racks. Liquid handling is performed using disposable tips with integral capacitive level detection to ensure zero carryover.

Beeline ZX 210 IFA
The Beeline ZX 210 is the latest in HTZ's range of liquid handlers configured specifically for performing indirect fluorescent antibody based (IFA) assays. It is also used for other immunoassays involving sample dilutions, reagent additions, washing and incubations.

Beeline ZX 320 CRM Dilution System
Beeline ZX 320 CRM Dilution system is a liquid handler configured for the preparation of dilutions and mixtures of drug Controlled Reference Materials with maximum precision, accuracy and security. Key features include positive ID of reference materials, disposable tip pipetting for zero carryover, data driven pipetting and built in 5/6 figure weigh cell for validation to relevant ISO standards.

SYRIFLEX ZX 500
The SYRIFLEX ZX 500 is a flexible filling system optimised for batch filling of vials, tubes and any small containers with liquids and reagents combined with an automated stoppering system. Based on a "barebones" configuration it is suitable for installation inside a Class II safety cabinet. with controlled insertion of caps as required prior to freeze drying.

Compudil 3
The Compudil 3 is a twin-syringe bench-top diluter and dispenser for performing a wide range of sample pipetting, reagent addition, serial dilution and many other liquid handling tasks. The Compudil 3 has a twin-syringe configuration and each syringe is independently driven by a stepper motor coupled to a high-precision, long-life drive mechanism. Control of the Compudil 3 is achieved by an on-board microprocessor which is programmed via the keypad. The microprocessor also caters for external control of the instrument via an RS232 interface.
