APG200 Vacuum Pirani Gauge
Edwards Vacuum, one of the market leaders in vacuum instrumentation, has launched its new APG200 series high performance Pirani Gauge, bringing real performance improvements and cost benefits. It is the perfect vacuum solution across a spectrum of applications due to its compact size and easy maintenance, LED light ring, integrated set points and reduced costs. Edwards production facility in the UK has been making and designing vacuum gauging for decades. Tapping into this experience they have been able to develop a gauge that has a 25% reduced package size, with no loss in performance. And by owning not only the measuring technology, but also the electronic development & manufacture they have maximised the features on offer. Building on the success of the APG100 series, the focus is on giving a reliable measurement, in a reduced size. This enables the APG200 to fit into smaller spaces, reducing the overall footprint of equipment with no impact on performance. At its core, everyone wants a reliable vacuum process that works day in, day out, whether it is being used 24/7 or sporadically. The APG200 measuring cell builds upon Edwards’ long track record in gauging to give great performance across its lifetime. nEXT Turbomolecular vacuum pumps - Built on decades of experience
A turbomolecular pump is a multistage axial-flow turbine in which high speed rotating blades provide compression by increasing the probability of gas moving in the pumping direction. The turbomolecular pump is optimised for molecular flow conditions and requires a suitably sized backing pump to exhaust to atmosphere. nEXT has been designed to combine all the latest technological advances in turbomolecular pumps offering pump sizes of 55, 85, 240, 300, 400, 730, 925 and 1250 l/s pumping speeds for Nitrogen. nXRi Dry Multistage Roots Pumps - Made to perform
Edwards has revolutionised the vacuum pump market with its high performance compact dry vacuum pump, offering the highest pumping density of its kind. The nXRi range is the perfect vacuum solution for your lab environment due to its compact size and low power, reliable performance and reduced costs. The range comes with lower input power and zero maintenance, bringing real performance improvements and cost benefits across a range of applications. The current 5 variants provide pumping speeds from 30 up to 120 m3h-1, up to six times more pumping speed than a similar sized dry pump. Designed with size in mind, the compact footprint and height allow the Edwards nXRi dry pump to fit easily under a benchtop saving valuable space in the laboratory; and at under 30kg offers a highly mobile vacuum pump for changing work flows and environments. The pump is maintenance free for up to five years, with no tip-seal or oil change, for maximum uptime and reduced maintenance costs. The nXRi's 40% smaller footprint, compared to alternative dry pumps, makes it the ideal pump for your mass spectrometer, electron microscope or helium leak detector. R&D customers will surely enjoy the design flexibility, oil-free and low maintenance features. As it is a compact multipurpose pump with superior vapour handling capabilities, it is an ideal fit for laboratory applications. Over the years, Edwards RV series of vacuum pumps have become a true industry standard with over 300,000 units sold. This success has been based on field proven design and reliability in a wide range of applications and environments. The RV is a truly versatile pump for operation throughout your operations, perfect for wet applications, dusty applications and clean dry applications. We can also customise your RV series to meet your specific requirements, including PFPE prepared and ATEX approved pumps. The best-in-class anti-suck back protection prevents dust or oil mist from entering your system. The fast-acting automatic inlet valve acts within 0.4 seconds – providing reliable and safe operation in almost any application. You can service and replace parts without dismantling the pump mechanism. All parts self-align, eliminating the need for special assembly. mXDS dry scroll pumps - a compact lightweight dry scroll vacuum pump
mXDS is a small dry alternative to oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps and diaphragm vacuum pumps of a similar capacity delivering 3 m3h-1 peak speed and 0.1 mbar ultimate. The mXDS is compact and lightweight, weighing in at just under 8kg with a purpose made carry handle making them highly portable. For system builders the pump can typically be mounted horizontally or vertically and for convenient connection the inlet can be orientated vertically or horizontally with a push fit alternative available as an accessory. These compact scroll pumps have a gas ballast facility incorporated in the design as standard for water vapour handling and an exhaust valve just like the larger nXDS. With a typically lower power requirement compared to similar capacity pumps, which makes them great for energy savings and an ideal choice for helping to reduce your carbon footprint The optimised fan cooling is beneficial in reducing noise for quieter operation leading to a pleasant working environment, and being clean oil free pumps with no oil to top up, replace or dispose of are an environmentally friendly option. mXDS3 are offered as standard or configured with a solenoid inlet isolation valve for enhanced system protection and supplied with exhaust silencer/filter accessory to become the mXDS3s.

And with our digital versions (nAPG/nAIM/nWRG) having the same footprint as their analogue counterparts, upgrading has never been simpler. Industrial: Harsh processes are notoriously difficult to cater for. However, with dedicated industrial/corrosion resistant variants of our standard gauges alongside industrial targeted products, such as the ASG2, we can once again, keep your system measuring. Semiconductor: Edwards has long been a reliable partner for many major Semiconductor customers. Our passive gauges have market leading range, able to measure down to 2x10-12mbar, whilst withstanding radiation. Leak Detection - Efficient and reliable performance
Offering a portfolio of (helium) leak detectors: ELD500 and GasCheck G3 Designed for fast, repeatable and accurate leak detection in a wide range of applications, the ELD500 is fully mobile with an easy to use control interface. The proven design of the Edwards ELD500 leak detector, combined with low energy consumption, extended warranty and even longer life ion source, ensures exceptional low cost of ownership with no compromise on performance. The Edwards GasCheck G3 features a Micro Thermal Conductivity sensor for enhanced sensitivity. At the heart of the instrument is a sensor which can detect any gas with a different thermal conductivity to that of air. Leaks can be located and the gas leak rate can be displayed in a choice of convenient units.

Edwards mXDS, nXDS, and the XDS range of dry scroll pumps Edwards dry scroll pumps offer proven dry, clean vacuum solutions for a wide range of applications. Scroll pumps are an excellent alternative to rotary vane pumps where oil free pumping is desirable. mXDS dry scroll pumps mXDS is a small dry alternative to oil sealed rotary vane pumps and diaphragm pumps of a similar capacity delivering 3 m3h-1 peak speed and 0.1 mbar ultimate. nXDS dry scroll pumps nXDS is a dry scroll pump offering pumping speeds of 6-20 m3h-1, combined with lower ultimate pressures, lower power consumption and lower noise levels than other pumps. XDS dry scroll pumps Have become industry standard when dry pumping is essential, proving to be a robust and clean vacuum pump solution in a range of applications with pumping speeds up to 40 m3h-1.
