Bimos is Europe’s leading manufacturer for industrial and laboratory chairs. For over 60 years, we have been developing and producing “Made in Germany” specialised work chairs that meet the highest demands. Our product portfolio is divided into five areas: production, ESD, laboratory, clean room and standing work. Bimos Laboratory Chair Neon
Comfort in your laboratory Neon supports the forward-leaning posture required for laboratory work. Its very modern design matches the high-tech laboratory environment perfectly. Neon has all the characteristics you would expect of a good laboratory chair. It is seamless, easy to clean, washable and resistant to disinfectants. In addition to its outstanding ergonomic features, Neon is above all extremely comfortable. Its very sophisticated mechanism supports the body in every movement. Both operating Neon and sitting on it are highly comfortable experiences. This chair is equipped with the latest technology and offers best ergonomics. Also, it is unbeatable in terms of comfort, design, flexibility, ease of adjustments, and the ergonomic package which includes seat depth adjustment, backrest height adjustment, weight regulation, seat height adjustment and seat tilt adjustment. The innovative 1+1 system allows the user to change the upholstery quickly and easily with one single click. For use in laboratory areas, you can choose between two materials: An extremely tough and pleasant-feeling structured integral foam or a soft and comfortable Magic synthetic leather. Both upholstery options are low maintenance and extremely durable. It is available in a low version (450mm-620 mm) and a high version (590 to 870 mm) with glides and a step or a footring. Bimos Laboratory Saddle stool
MADE FOR PRECISION. THE SPACE-SAVING STOOL FOR CONCENTRATED AND CLEAN WORKING. Our saddle stool is ideal for elevated workstations, especially where mobility is required or legroom is limited. Thanks to its specific optional features, the saddle stool is ideally suited for different areas of use. Laboratories are demanding workplaces. The laboratory version of the saddle stool is characterised by its high level of comfort and hygienic design. It is easy to clean, can be disinfected and prevents the build-up of germs and bacteria thanks to its crease-free and seamless upholstery, as well as the encapsulated mechanism. Its three-zone upholstery foam is soft and makes sitting comfortable. The extra large laboratory castors are smooth-running and easy to clean.

Bimos TEXON is the chair for the high-tech workstations of the future – whether in cleanrooms, ESD areas, laboratories or production. Thanks to its innovative materials and first-class properties, TEXON fulfils the stringent requirements of a wide range of industries. We work with experts to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and fulfil specialist requirements. Cleanroom suitability and particle emission safety Thanks to its special materials and hygienic design, TEXON meets the highest requirements for particle emission safety. TEXON is certified for use in class 3 cleanrooms in accordance with ISO 14644-1 (Fraunhofer). Hygienic design TEXON’s hygienic design has been tested by the German Fraunhofer Institute for its functionality and range of applications. The assessment has verified that ► the chair can be completely cleaned by simply wiping it down ► Modular design allows efficient cleaning of individual components ► TEXON is ideal for clean and hygiene-critical production areas ► TEXON adheres to the design recommendations of the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) and the standards ISO 14644-1, 14159 and 1672-2 ESD-compliant Overall ESD discharge across all components in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1, typical discharge resistance of 106 Ω. All components and materials (e.g. upholstery, plastics, steel parts, castors) are volume-conductive and therefore guarantee the highest level of ESD safety. This includes the light-coloured plastic parts, which are also volume-conductive – a particularly innovative and unique feature of this design.

With Skintec, Bimos presents an innovative upholstery material that meets all these requirements—developed in conjunction with the new TEXON work chair. What makes Skintec so special? It was developed to meet the increasing demands of the modern working world, where robustness, hygiene, conductivity and comfort play an important role. It is not just a new surface material; Skintec is a system component for furnishings that are future-proof, responsible and sustainable in sensitive, high-tech areas. It combines all the key properties to offer a high-performance solution for demanding work areas. The most important properties at a glance: - Seamless hygienic design: smooth, closed surfaces for maximum cleanability Non-slip and dimensionally stable, even under continuous load. Conductive in all colours – even light-coloured variants meet the highest ESD requirements. This is unique on the market, as previously only dark materials were conductive. Outstanding seating comfort thanks to a softly padded foam core. Resistant and durable – ideal for continuous use in demanding conditions. Fire safety tested in accordance with DIN EN 1021-1 and -2 for maximum safety. Free from environmentally harmful substances: no phthalates, PVC or plasticisers. It has attractive aesthetics with a high-quality feel and look.
