AstraZeneca – Senior Director HSE Sustainability & Quality Control Systems
Andrew, PhD in environmental science and microbiology, drives SHE and Sustainability at AstraZeneca. He leads the Green Lab program, engaging 4,000+ scientists to cut waste, remove hazards, and advance sustainable lab practices.
Jiteen Ahmed
Aston University – Head Of Technical Services
Raj is Business Development Director at My Green Lab, leading the ACT Eco Label program. He works with suppliers to cut environmental impact across the lab supply chain and champions global collaboration to drive sustainable innovation.
Kath Darlington MBE
The Scott Partnership Ltd – CEO & Founder
Kath is CEO of The Scott Partnership, a global PR and marketing group. With over 30 years’ experience, she is an MBE, Export Champion, linguist, and entrepreneur with businesses across the UK, EU, USA and China, recognised for helping British companies internationalise.
Laurence Dawkins-Hall
Science Council – Applicant Support Mentor: Professional Registration
Laurence is an award-winning STEM educator and bioscientist with over 35 years’ experience. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and Institute of Science and Technology, he supports development in the technical community.
Matthew Partridge
Technically Social – Managing Partner
Matthew is a science communication specialist with 16 years’ experience in research across industry and academia. With a PhD in Fibre Optic Molecular Sensors, his career focused on developing sensors. He is also the cartoonist and primary content producer for ErrantScience.
Raj Patey
My Green Lab – Business Development Director
Raj supports lab supply manufacturers in demonstrating sustainability through the ACT Environmental Impact Factor Label. Leading the ACT Ecolabel Program, he helps companies improve product impact across manufacturing, energy, packaging, and end-of-life.
Sean Marshall
Synthesis Media – Managing Director
Sean is the publisher of Laboratory News and has spent more than 25 years communicating science and technology to a wide audience. With a background in chemical engineering, he combines technical expertise with a strong passion for scientific innovation, research, and achievement.
