Enabling Electrification Through Understanding Materials

This talk with explore how materials analysis solutions from electron microscopy to NMR are helping both researcher and battery manufacturers deliver more product and develop the next generation of energy storage solutions to accelerate global electrification. We will cover how NMR can be used to understand ion mobility and help deliver faster charging more powerful cells, how electron microscopy can be automated to detect foreign particles in cathode slurry to minimize the changes of catastrophic failure and how Raman imaging can quickly assess lithiation in carbon and silicon-based anodes.
