Bruker technology features in a new manufacturing dataset designed to improve laser-track prediction and support future research into advanced manufacturing processes.

Researchers have released a new multimodal dataset to support the NSF Future Manufacturing Data Challenge, using Bruker’s ContourGT-K 3D optical profilometer alongside thermal imaging and electron microscopy. The dataset is designed to improve the prediction of laser-track geometry in advanced manufacturing applications.
