Laurence is a dedicated and hard-working professional with 35 years of experience in biomedical science laboratory teaching and practice. He has continually evolved his training methods, now incorporating online and video-based approaches that have proven highly popular. As a leading figure in his field, Laurence has spent the past eight years mentoring over 3,000 STEM technicians through around 100 workshops and in-person events. He has worked closely with approximately 300 of these technicians and has assessed more than 300 scientists for both awards.
