One of the leading challenges faced within drug/product development is opalization of your lyophilization processes. These challenges arise from limited transparency and control of your process and convoluted recipe development. Telstar have designed their freeze dryers to combat such challenges and provide robust and easy to use units and software to improve your process development.

Telstar freeze drying units are designed for biological, pharmaceutical and food product formulation and “scale up” work, facilitating transfer of technology from the R&D centres to production. Our high-performance units with their GLP design, allows for performing the entire freeze-drying process fully automatically as well as accurately monitoring it.
The possibility of controlling the freeze-drying process makes understanding of key parameters a very valuable tool for the up-scaling of the process at stages close to production.

The LyoBeta unit allows fully automatically processing of a complete freeze-drying cycle according to specific profiles. The process recipes are easily edited on the touchscreen, or the LyoSuite SCADA software, and run in automatic, semiautomatic, or manual modes. At any moment, the automatic mode can be switched off, held, restarted or switched over to semiautomatic or manual modes.

All recipe/process changes can be saved, exported and reloaded through a click of a button. All data can be easily transferred between units and uploaded onto production scale freeze dryers, further resolving the existing challenges for technology transfer and scale up.

Moreover, Telstar’s experience in the freeze drying field, through an established in-house freeze drying laboratory, guarantees customers not only the choice of the most suitable unit but also expert advice on how it should be used.
